DATES FOR 2011

WEEKEND RETREATS

20-22nd May 2011

19-21 August 2011

21-23 October 2011

18-20 November 2011

We will only be running four retreats this year - our numbers are limited to 9 so that everyone has the luxury of their own room. Have a look at our accommodation http://www.solitude.org.za/ which is located in the Dargle Valley, just behind Midmar Dam.

The cost is R 1 450 per person, which includes accommodation, delicious food and all workshop material. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

WORKSHOPS FOR GOAL-SETTING

These workshops are based on the book "My Best Year Yet" by Jinny Ditler. This workshop means putting aside time for yourself to sit and reflect on your year gone by as well as looking ahead and setting goals for 2011. Our numbers are limited to 8 so that we are able to interact and learn from each other. They will be held in Hillcrest and the cost is R 550 (this includes material and refreshments). Please contact us on julie@simplicitycoaching.co.za for any further queries.

A vision is where you are going

A plan is how you get there.

WORKSHOPS FOR EMBRACING ENERGY

The number of hours in a day is fixed, but the amount of energy available to us is not! This workshop will look at physical, mental, emotional and purpose-driven energy, define what your current reality is in all these areas and then you will learn tools to best manage these four energy levels. Also to be held in Hillcrest, the cost is R550 per person (includes material and teas).

Please contact us on julie@simplicitycoaching.co.za if you have any queries.

Please note that these workshops have a limited number of delegates so that maximum learning and participation can take place. They are facilitated by both of us, so that we continue to learn from one-another.

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

We all want to know how to stay young... here is some advice that is SIMPLE but wise...

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them'

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down..

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, the stars, anything that interests you and makes you feel ALIVE.

4. ENJOY THE SIMPLE THINGS!

5.. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and then move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love , whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is not great, improve it.. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, to the next town; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER :
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

COMMENTS FROM PAST PARTICIPANTS OF OUR RETREATS

I enjoyed the connecting with other girls. I enjoyed the easy banter, the laughter, the comfort, the security. I enjoyed the silence, the tranquility, the setting, the food. I enjoyed being me! I enjoyed getting to know the others. I'm so glad I came. I loved the sharing and caring.
Nicole, Hillcrest

The course material was valuable and inspiring. I enjoyed the section on forgiveness as well as "energy management". It certainly is a different perspective and more useful then the old paradigms. I learnt that if I slow down for a while, the world will not come crashing down around me. I enjoyed meeting new and interesting people and hearing about their lives.
Cindy, Winston Park

I learnt to just be. Remebering my spirit and my humaness. I enjoyed the relaxedness, sharing with others and laughing.
Elmarie, Nelspruit
